An original letter of authorisation from the applicant’s editor or producer on the organisation’s letterhead must be submitted with the application. Freelance photographers and journalists shall only be accredited with proof of commission from a press medium.
If there is a request for more than two passes per media, names together with purpose of accreditation must be submitted in a combined application. Children and persons under the age of 18 years cannot be accredited as press people.
Accreditation will only be given to websites that have a direct connection with indigenous, television or broadcasting.
All applications will be checked and cross referenced with the national media database. Media will then be allocated a pass to gain entry to the conference sessions.
Māori Television reserves the right to reject certain requests and any accreditation received after Friday March 14 2008.

The Media Centre will provide work areas, information packs, press updates, deal with all issues and is not open to the public. Media, however, will be asked to take responsibility for their property and equipment.
